For Piper Jones, middle school teacher, educational leadership alumna and graduate student commencement speaker for the spring Class of 2025, teaching is all about the 鈥渓ight bulb moment鈥� 鈥� the instant when a student鈥檚 confusion finally turns into understanding.

Nearly 150 alumni and supporters packed the Fine Arts Building Recital Hall on the Anchorage campus to honor the most recent Alumni of Distinction while reconnecting with their hometown university and raising funds to benefit 成人APP精选programs and scholarships.
