Situated within UAA's College of Health, ACRH-HW plays a pivotal role in developing a robust healthcare workforce through strategic programs, partnerships, and training initiatives.​

ACRH-HW’s mission is to cultivate a sustainable healthcare workforce that meets the diverse needs of Alaska's rural populations. By focusing on education, training, and community engagement, we aim to bridge healthcare disparities and ensure equitable access to quality care across the state.​

We envision a future where Alaska's rural and underserved communities are supported by a well-trained, resilient, and culturally competent healthcare workforce.
